Rock. Reptile. Repeat.

Our story

Howdy! I’m Chase D. Spruiell, the person behind Rhac N Roll, but you can call me “Gecko Lord,” which I absolutely prefer.

My journey into the wild world of reptiles began in the hot summer of 2021, after a decade of being on the road as a songwriter. In a freshly post-covid world, I decided to merge my two passions: reptiles and music. If you haven’t picked up on it yet, the name "Rhac N Roll" is an *incredibly clever* play on words, inspired by Rhacodactylus, the genus of many of the species that I work with.

I've been into reptiles longer than I’ve been able to tie my shoes. I grew up in small towns around Texas, which were always out in the middle of nowhere. I spent most of my childhood at the local creeks and ponds, always eager to discover what turtles, frogs, or snakes I could get my eyes on. Combining my lifelong love of reptiles with my passion for songwriting and tour life  just made sense, so I ended up here—curating a selection of New Caledonia Geckos and Ball Pythons. Why those species? Because they rock. Obviously.

Here at Rhac N Roll, we’re serious about quality and customer satisfaction, but not too serious about ourselves. We ensure every creature is healthy and well-prepared for the big move to your terrarium, which is far less dramatic than going on tour but equally important, and we make sure you feel supported for the entire journey.

So, you’re new to the reptile game, or maybe you’re a veteran and have already been pooped on by a Leachianus Gecko more times than you can remember—either way, Rhac N Roll has your back. Think of me as your geeky reptile guru, your Gecko Lord, always just a phone call away from launching into an exciting spiel on humidity control or gecko nutrition—yes, I’m the life of any party.

Join us as we keep on rocking with the reptiles. I guarantee it's more thrilling than watching paint dry—unless you're into that sort of thing.
